SMS Privacy Policy
This policy describes how V20 Energy, LLC ("V20 Energy," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our BESSI operational text-messaging program (the "Program"), which sends battery energy storage system operational alerts from +1 (866) 368-3651 to V20 Energy operations personnel who have opted in.
Information we collect
When you enroll in the Program by texting START to +1 (866) 368-3651, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent, including the date and time you opted in. We also retain a log of messages sent to and received from your number so that we can operate the Program and honor opt-out requests.
How we use your information
We use your phone number and consent records solely to deliver Program messages: operational alerts, fault notifications, and related status updates about V20 Energy battery energy storage systems. We do not use Program data for advertising or marketing.
Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for vendors and service providers who deliver messages on our behalf (such as our messaging platform provider) and who are contractually obligated to protect it, or where disclosure is required by law.
Opting out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any Program message. After you opt out, you will receive one final message confirming your unsubscription, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.
Data retention and security
We retain phone numbers and consent records only as long as needed to operate the Program and to meet legal and audit obligations. Program data is stored on access-controlled systems within our Microsoft Azure environment.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled users.
